The Emerging Leaders Internship is a life-changing opportunity for young adults aged 18–25 who want to serve young people, develop leadership skills, and grow alongside our experienced staff team.

What can I expect as an Intern?
Impact – Make a difference with young people
Serve within one of our youth centres and play a hands-on role supporting and leading young people.

What commitment do you need from me as an Intern?
- Commitment to your volunteer role
- Subscribe to the mission and ethos of Exodus as found here.
- Time Commitment
- 8-30 hours per week within an agreed role from September until the summer
- Fundraising
- An internships costs Exodus £1150 for someone volunteering 12 hour per week.
- Interns are asked to raise a minimum of £500 towards their role by 31st October, with Exodus covering the remainder.
How to Apply
1. Start an application form and select the best internship area for you.
2. The first application window closes on 20th May, with interviews taking place shortly after. There are a limited number of spaces available, and applicants are advised to apply by this deadline where possible to avoid disappointment.
3. Applications will remain open for unfilled positions until 21st August 2026, with interviews taking place throughout the summer.
