Momentum
We have been amazed by God’s favour and faithfulness as we serve young people in Belfast. In the past 2 years, participation on teams and the DISCIPLES programme has more than doubled and the opportunities for schools ministry keeps growing.
Vision
To continue on this path we now want to add a Full Time Area Worker to the team with a focus on reaching out to those who are currently less likely to be involved - young guys, those who aren’t yet Christians, and those from a Catholic background.
To deliver this we are inviting parents, volunteers and a number of local churches to partner with us on this initiative.
Our target is £19500 per annum and we are aiming to raise at least £7500 from local churches and £5k through local monthly giving and for that we need 20 new partners, giving £20 a month 20 partners x £20 x 12 months = £4800 per year (plus Gift Aid)

We are aiming to achieve this goal by 16th March 2026 so we will have time to advertise and appoint before the summer.

- Why only £19500?
Through existing supporters and reserves we have £14k for this project but to be successful we are aiming to raise
an additional £19.5k of sustainable income. - What does the money go towards?
The costs of employing a full time Area Worker and all the ministry and admin costs linked to running the ministry locally. - Can I give more or less than £20 per month?
Absolutely - we are delighted with any contribution to the vision. - What if we go over the target?
Everything will go to the local work and anything over the target will reduce the pressure of raising money in the future. - What's the deadline?
